my opinion keep going, thats only a 10% overclock :) but then again im an AMD guy so I dont know much about the 3ghz headroom

also what are your memory timings? that corsair should do 200 mhz @ 2 2 2 6 easily

thanx for posting the rig stats... lazy is as lazy does :D

mem is @ 300mhz... it definatley has some room...

my biggest concern now are the temps... i'll keep a tweakin the rest ~

im trying to scoop some info on 3.06 temps... i dont even know whats "normal" yet... maybe intel has made an amd-like temp jump in temps on this bad larry.

What are the airflow specs of those fans? And are you using AS3? My only reccomendation would be to get a different CPU HS/F, because 60c is kinda high.

2 - 80mm med speeds in the front

2 - 80mm high speeds in the back ( 84.1 CFM )

1 - 92mm med speed in the side

got the as3 workin'... have re-applied 2 times now...

Which way are all of the fans blowing?

The P4 3.06 runs much hotter than it's predecessors, especially with HT enabled. I would think those temps were a little high, but I have nothing to base that on except the temps of my 2.4B.

Way too much air going out. You want intake and exhaust to be equal, or if anything have the intake be more. That way you have positive pressure in your case, and that will help to get rid of some of the dust. If you have everything blowing out, then you will be sucking air in through every little crevice in your case. I would consider switching some of those fans around if I were you.

i did a little test today about the HT enabled temp theory... my cpu runs cooler when in HT mode. by like 3-4 degrees...
