Perhaps it's because I saw it when I was a kid and had a crush on Melanie for some reason.

All I know is that when I saw it again a few days ago I was expecting some sort of b-rate soft porn thingamajig ( I saw it half-asleep as a kid and apparently COMPLETELY self-exaggerated the plot) and what I got was...

um.....the people that made that movie HAD to be shooting up.

sounds like a good film to me - must be a better film than Hard Rock Zombies which I saw the other night

I remember a Twilight Zone like that, but it wasn't an android, just a "female" computer that took up half of the room. The "monitor" was a set of shutters that would close, allowing them to pause the camera and replace the piece of paper with text on it for the computer's answers.

yeah he was the last human.
but i don't think it was a android was it? more like a whole computer that controlled the house? the rest of the family and people were just holograms or something?

I remember that one. It was an Outer Limits (one of the newer ones) episode. That android seemed good right up until she killed her. Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1) played the guy who built her. It was a good episode.

never saw this Cherry movie but it sounds like a good drinking movie too.
