I've been keeping track. Since cherries have been in season and readily available - I've personally ate 14lbs of them - sometimes they are all I eat for breakfast and lunch.

Mmmmmm cherries. . .

I foresee a long bonding session between you and a toilet in the not-too-distant future.

I love cherries. I like popping them in my mouth and sucking on them while slowly sucking on its juices

same here.

What's even worse is that I live only 150km's from the Cherry capital of Australia..Young, but the only cherries you can buy in supermarkets and fruit and veg stores are imported from oversea's.

Uhhh...sorry man.

Those were the only lines I ever learned from that song so I looked up the lyrics.

I gave my love a cherry
That had no stone
I gave my love a chicken
That had no bone
I told my love a story
That had no end
I gave my love a baby
With no crying.

How can there be a cherry
That has no stone?
And how can there be a chicken
That has no bone?
And how can there be a story
That has no end?
And how can there be a baby
With no crying?

A cherry when it's blooming
It has no stone
A chicken when in the shell
It has no bone
The story of how I love you
It has no end
A baby when it's sleeping
It's not crying.

The song is kind of retarded.

They're on my shopping list for tomorrow, 99 cents a pound. I'm going to pick up at least 4 pounds, some for eating and some to make either a pie or a cobbler.

Which flavor of cherries? Montmorency? Morello? Bing? Lambert? Stella? Rainier? Royal Anne? Black Tartarian?

Each has a slightly different flavor. (The first two being sour cherries)

Costco here has had Rainier's lately...I've been enjoying the hell out of those.

My in-laws used to have a cherry orchard. Montmorency was their main crop...(dammed good pie cherries, but IMO, not worth a dammed for eating) but they also had a couple of Rainier trees and a couple of Bing trees.

Our cherry season is usually in April to early May...so after that, we have to depend on Washington to supply us with our cherry goodness.

Was just thinking(few hours ago) about buying some. When I was a kid I'd get them straight off the tree at my grandparents orchard. Store bought isn't near as good, but they'll do.
