Not that I like Cheney (and I probably dislike him more than Mr. Bush) but I would hate to live under the microscope like politicians do. Sometimes, maybe a gentle f-enheimer is needed. We only get one side of the story in the article.

Firefox is not letting me link with Fusetalk...🙁 Or maybe not. Gads, I'm having nothing but problems with Firefox .9 and Fusetalk...

I'm just glad we're not like Japan, at least, I think it was Japan's congress that got into a BIG braul a couple weeks ago...

So if a Dem tells Bush or Cheney to F-off you guys are okay with it right? They are just letting off a little stem right? No harm done. I thought doing the right thing was also about doing it when no one or no cameras are looking? GOP values are sure screwed the help up.

Well the Demoncrats are the "immoral" party so when they say the Fvck Word they need to be put in their place as untermenschen. But when a moral man like Cheney, heir of the Puritan's great Godly lineage, says it to a hellspawn Socialist, it is justified.

(Dennis Prager)

The four instances that were cited by the author were all meant for the public to hear or read.

What Cheney said was a private statement not meant for public ears.

I expect you will call that hypocrisy. I call it being aware of your audience.

Just as some forms of expression are not allowed on this board and you would not express yourself in a certain way, in a private conversation you might and feel that it is perfectly acceptable.

Yes, there are hypocrits around, but the finger is pointing in the wrong direction.

I'm sorry Conjur, I didn't think you were old enough for Alzheimers.

I guess I'll have to take it easy on you from now on since I'm aware of your affliction.

Maybe we can go back to the days when the congress beat each other, like that kook did when someone was talking anti-slave on the floor (1850s).
