Excellent, the odds of getting this sorry pair out of office just went up!

I guess I'll hold off of sending him a nice spread of the finest meats and cheeses...

Won't go down easy. We've got two Johns but will probably need a couple of plungers to "eliminate" the "problem"

I'm no Democrat. My political compass score is libertarian, not liberal. Several polls have shown that the makup of the people who post here is pretty well balanced.

But the thing is, my crap detector has been going off since I first encountered GWB, and I have been reeling in dismay for nearly four years with every move this bunch makes. At this point I'd vote for Krusty the Clown rather than see more of this.

I have been watching the political pendulum swing since the 60s and it has swung too far this time, and it is imperitive that we don't allow it to move any further in the direction it has taken under GWB.

Well you have to understand that those on the Lunatic Fringe like Ripsnortin have a vested interest in seeing the Dub re-elected because if he is soundly defeated then neither party will ever again embrace their radical movement.

I don't think people here generally have any problem with thoughtful, clearheaded conservatives (shinerburke is one example who comes to mind, or eaglekeeper). Unfortunately for the right-wing folks here, a number of really obnoxious Republicans (Rip is the most recent, visible example; I can think of several others, but they shall remain nameless) have appointed themselves the Voices of the Right, and they leave little space for legitimate debate.

Agreed. I have very little patience for ANYBODY on ANY side of the political spectrum who decides to spew partisan insults and loaded terminology such as 'liberal' or 'conservative' in their derogatory formats. If I want to hear extreme partisan crap like that I'll turn on Rush Limbaugh or any one of those partisan (liberal or conservative) media whores.

People who have a coherent opinion and are willing to face opposition, however, I have no problem with.

Yes, you are virtually the only one out there. However, as a Republican supporter, my views are the same in some areas, but different in others. I personally, just can't warm up to the Democratic party.

I've cut down on my posting in this forum. It's useless to attempt to even post my views when 6 replies will be made by Liberals trying to indicate my views are skewed - especially by one individual with over 30K posts and doesn't see things any other way.

Instead, I'll just focus on working, making money and investing in these fine corporations that we have. ;)

If you were thinking of me, please post my name also. ;)

I'll take any publicity that I can get. ;)

There were alot more conservatives here defending Bush since the formation of the forum, they just slowly left or changed their minds about Bush.

That's why u need more than 2 parties.

3 major ones in canada.

one left, one right, one centrist.

all hold parliment in at least 1 province. Left have never been in power federally
