Did anything more ever come of this.. like how Cheney was allowed to keep shit like this secret and why the fuck they were mapping these things out LIKE THEY OWNED THEM

CHENEY ENERGY TASK FORCE DOCUMENTS FEATURE MAP OF IRAQI OILFIELDS

Commerce & State Department Reports to Task Force Detail Oilfield & Gas Projects, Contracts & Exploration

Saudi Arabian & UAE Oil Facilities Profiled As Well
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse, said today that documents turned over by the Commerce Department, under court order as a result of Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit concerning the activities of the Cheney Energy Task Force, contain a map of Iraqi oilfields, pipelines, refineries and terminals, as well as 2 charts detailing Iraqi oil and gas projects, and “Foreign Suitors for Iraqi Oilfield Contracts.” The documents, which are dated March 2001, are available on the Internet at: www.JudicialWatch.org.
The Saudi Arabian and United Arab Emirates (UAE) documents likewise feature a map of each country’s oilfields, pipelines, refineries and tanker terminals. There are supporting charts with details of the major oil and gas development projects in each country that provide information on the projects, costs, capacity, oil company and status or completion date.
Judicial Watch has been seeking these documents under FOIA since April 19, 2001. Judicial Watch was forced to file a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia (Judicial Watch Inc. v. Department of Energy, et al., Civil Action No. 01-0981) when the government failed to comply with the provisions of the FOIA law. U.S. District Court Judge Paul J. Friedman ordered the government to produce the documents on March 5, 2002.
The documents were produced in response to Judicial Watch’s on-going efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in government on behalf of the American people. Judicial Watch aggressively pursues those goals by making FOIA requests and seeking access to public information concerning government operations. When the government fails to abide by these “sunshine laws” Judicial Watch files lawsuits in order to obtain the requested information and to hold responsible government officials accountable.
“These documents show the importance of the Energy Task Force and why its operations should be open to the public,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

This may be shocking to you, but, when oil drives the entire US and World economy (in which the US is tied to, and vice versa), knowing about that critical resource is sorta........important. That's what we elect/hire/fund Leadership in this country to do: Know this sh1t.

If the Obama Admin doesn't have an updated view of the same thing, that would be almost unbelievable.

It's sorta unreal that you think something like this is so unreal...

Not a Bush Cheney fan, but in fairness, this actually looks like existing oil interests in Iraq at the time, not suitors, notice no US companies.

Because 'Cup O Rage', making your country's energy information and policy completely open is......dumb. Why would any country release that info, so as to give other countries and their company's a leg up in planning and/or negotiation?

This is like Leadership 101.....you haven't been exposed much at all to Leadership level stuff, have you?

It is kind of obvious afcourse that in the middle east it may seem like one big friendship . But it is not. With the help of the bin Bush administration, the layout in the middle east is changing. Irak and Saudi Arabia where not really fond of each other and in a sense competition. Iran and Saudi Arabia are not really fond of each other either. It will take some time but i would not be surprised if the Sunni's in Irak will win. Afcourse having Iraq because of it's unique history is very important if you are a believer of (your interpretation )of Islam.

Didn't we use a ton of resources to protect that infrastructure for the Iraqi's? Kinda need to know where they are at to do that. If his goal was to steal all the oilz then he fucked up.

Afcourse it is funny that the Shiite muslims are waiting for the 12th imam.
Jezus had 12 disciples/ apostles. meaning 12 followers or those 12 who where send out to convince others.

I wonder if the sunnies have the same 12 imams...

Have you purchased your suicide vest yet batshit dahunan?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrong again Nick, not only was Cheney and his ilk neoCON a bunch of liars and theives, their own incompetence didn't manage to make their lies worthwhile for the American public, so shave Cheney's bald head, put him on trial for international war crimes, and when convicted, an actual slam dunk, we can electrocute him. Or hang him like Saddam. Cheney's lies killed way more people than Saddam ever did.

But Nick, if you want to give Cheney a suicide vest, it might save the expense of a trial.

But while you are at it Nick, maybe you can get a volume discount on suicide vests, one each for GWB, Hadley, Rumsfeld, Rice, and quite a few more in addition, If you feel froggie Nick, go for it, just make sure the guilty use them on themselves. They are more used to getting other people killed.

Somehow, that hey hey hey de human, how many kids have you killed today so does not fit the dehunan, and so fits the rascals and thieves of GWB&co.

You should borrow some of Loony Harvey's macros, that are much more dramatic, and give better lulz.

I am getting really impressed now, a whole three posters in deep GWB&co guilt denial.

Lets see, about 200 million US voters, most of them far smarter than the 3 dumkateers, in denial, with 100 million required for a political majority consensus.

Well, color me impressed, three whole voters down, only 99,999,998 more to go to get your majority.

No, it 's more like a recurrence of BDS. It's already been posted why this is a non-issue, and only the people clinging to it are the rabid leftist.
