repeat after me:I used to be big into conspiracy theories, chemtrails are one of the few that I haven't entirely dispensed with.
There are plenty of papers in scientific journals and talks at geoengineering conferences about using "stratospheric aerosols" as "solar radiation management" to increase the reflectivity of the earth and thereby decrease solar radiation/temperature. So such a thing as chemtrails is plausible - the only question is whether the program proposed by scientists is underway or not.
To me, it's not much of a stretch to say this program is currently underway. I'm also unconvinced that the trails that go across the entire sky and turn the entire sky into this sort of weird hazy cloud are garden variety contrails from condensed jet exhaust, which I also notice but are much shorter in duration. Another interesting thing I've noticed is that the "persistent contrails" always seem to form in the direction of the sky where the sun is.
airplanes fly at different altitudes and that affects how contrails behave.
your physics lesson for today is over.
