If you Google 'Chemisery', I am the first result. I have actually had 17 visitors come from Google (and no, not the crawler).

So anyway. So far, it is working as it is supposed to. There is actual discussion going on in the active courses - including methodology, reasonings, etc behind answering homework Qs. My problem is, however, that there is only one -very- active course, and a few so-so courses. The majority, however, have no users.

I don't know how to reach a target audience that literally goes to my school. Should I post a few fliers in the Chem building? I have already sent Facebook messages to people I know are in the listed classes, etc.

Finally, I'm not sure about the color scheme or layout. I'd like to change it up and get rid of the navbar, and make a nav-column on the left side. That way, I can possibly do a skyscraper ad or something similar below it.

P.S. I'm not gloating or trying to direct traffic to my site (you aren't even close to the target audience), I just want some input. This is my first site that more than 20-30 people have visited.

that's good dude. keep advertising your site around the net if you can. find sites to post your link somewhere on theirs. but it looks good so far man. keep it up
