Chemical Reaction Temperature.... is it uniform?

i have to comment on the reasonableness of such an assumption, but i really suck at chemistry. this is for a stat/math class (nothing to do with chemistry).... i think this assumes that everybody is not mind numbingly inept at chemistry (unlike me)....

anybody?

Since typically the internal energy of reactants and products is different and the molecules wont react all at the same time, I would say, on a molecular level, the temperatures are not uniform.
