These arent just normal jet streams, the white smoke spreads out in a weird pattern and covers a large area. I see planes sparying this stuff almost everyday here in seattle. I saw it too when i was on the east coast last summer. There are theories about the government experimenting with climate control... Anyone knowlegable about this? One thing i know is that this is something new in the past couple of years, and im curious about it. (I did a search for chem trails and nothing turned up, sorry if this is a repost)

In my opinion, these chem trails could be the result of the government experimenting with new engine designs that haven't been perfected yet. There are undoubtedly experimental engine designs to improve effency, reach higher speeds, etc, and these engines would produce strange "con-trails". Any chemicals released could be the product of incomplete combustion, or strange by-products of combustion.
The airforce is commisioning work on energetic ionic liquids. These liquids are entirely composed of ions at or near room temperature. No solvent (water or organic) is present in these liquids. One benefit of these liquids is that they have neglidgable vapor pressures, which means that they don't evaporate and therefore are much less hazordous to work with. The risk of fire or explosion in the event of a leak is greatly reduced. High energetic ionic liquids could be used as fuels and/or explosives, and would be much safer to handle. Think of being able to fuel a plane with a liquid fuel that wouldn't evaporate. While some chemical protection would still be needed, you wouldn't need any kind of respirator.
Now, as far as I know, these types of fuels are still in the theoretical stages. However, if the military is looking into these types of fuels, what other fuel and engine designs are they looking at. Personally, I'm not worried. I don't think it is a government conspiracy of any sort. However, such work isn't public knowledge in the interests of national security. Think of the situation from the government's standpoint. They can fly these aircraft around for testing purposes, and their con-trails may be strange looking. However, no one could reverse engineer an engine design from a con-trail, so who cares if people see these things?

WHen i first heard of the "chemtrail" conspiracy i thought they were nuts. But 3 months ago i was driving home and i happend to look up and i saw a Jet very high come in from the south of Denver and when it was over the general center of the city of denver it banked to the left and made a pretty tight circle with its contrail. When it completed the circle it departed to the west over the mountains.
I served 10 years in the air force and the only jet going that fast and at that alditude could only have been a military jet. Commercial jets do not do circles over large cities. It left a contrail which got wider as it dispersed and did not evaperate like a regular contrail from a passing commercial jet.
pretty weird but i wonder what the heck that pilot was doing and who did he work for.

Yes they exist. We watch the planes at 5000 feet flying cirlces over San Diego and LA. And with all the sh1t spewing out of the rear. Thank God for Cloudbusters an HHG.

heh...good one. That last paragraph tells all.
I remember after the 9/11 attacks when all aircraft were grounded, some studies were done of the climate and precipitation since there were no contrails in the sky. I'd have to Google to find that info but anyone else could do the same.

I've read about this cobweb stuff and jello-gloop before. It's a real phenomenon and I'm pretty sure it predates all this chemtrail nonsense. It has some funky Welsh name like "pwder ser" or something with way too many consonants.
It's "pwdr ser". There's not much online by that name however. It means "rotten star" or something to that effect. It's also sometimes called star jelly. It goes back into folklore hundred of years. It evaporates very quickly making any kind of analysis difficult. As far as I know no one knows what it is or what causes it.

hehehe yea ok, First off im a student pilot and that aircraft was not in a holding pattern and not anywhere near DIA. Second, the tight circle the aircraft made was not done by a commercial aircraft with passengers on board. I know what I saw was unusual and it caught my attention. I pay attention to the sky, i have never seen a large aircraft perform a manuver like that before over a populated area.

There also seems to be a coorelation between my health and how much their spraying, other people i know have noticed the same thing. Why do some people have such a hard time accepting that the gov. could be trying out new weather/ atmosphere research? I'm not saying its true, but cummon its not far fetched at all, so quit it with the "yeah right, conspiracy, your crazy, blah blah...
Before you call anyone a moron you should at least know what you are talking about moron. Regular contrails are very different than the stuff that is sprayed from behind the planes that the chem trails come from. Chem trails are very well documented 'conspiracy theory' with hundreds of photographs from around the country to back up the idea that something is being sprayed from planes in an organized pattern over the country. You only become a conspiracy theorist when you try to explain what they are, but you are just plain ignorant when you say they don't exist.
