Chem help! Does Fluorene Dissolves in boiling water but not room temperature water?

I have this neutral compound that Doesn't dissolve in room temperature water but dissolved in Boiling temperature. It also dissolves by ethanol at room temperature. It has a yellowish flaky shape, I can't decide between acetanilide or Fluorene. I'm thinking fluorene but not sure about the water dissolve characteristic of fluorene. Can anyone help?

That "water dissolve characteristic" is called "solubility" and the solubility of fluorene in water is 1.2x10-2 mmol/L
