Cheiftec USB and Firewaire headers a pain.

I'm got the Cheiftec case that everyone and their brother has along with an EPOX 8RDA+ motherboard. I'd like to hook the headers to the board, but I'm a little confused. The firewire header is a completely different type of connector so it might be out of the quaestion, but the USB headers will fit. THe only problem is I'm a little confused as to how they need to be placed. My confusion stems around the ground pins. I'm comfortable with the position od the Poweer and D1-D2 pins, but the ground pins don't seem to jive. I hooked them up as I thought they should be and my board wouldn't boot. I pulled them back off and the board boots. Obvisouly I had them on wrong. Anyone have a pic or suggestions. The cheiftec case did not come with any instrcutions, although their website does have some pinout diagrams. Not that they are very helpful or anything.

Check your motherboard manual. They tell you how to connect all the extra's.

Try this link for the USB installation. All the pins should be specified in your motherboard manual.

Don't put anything on Pin #10 of an 8RDA/8RDA+. That's what's causing the no-boot problem... this pin is hot +5V for some reason. Just leave that pin unoccupied and you're on your way :)
