Cheez has Cool Question About iPad with Lightning Connector for Powa

I would say this is an interesting question.

Say you hooked up your external USB DAC to your iPad 3/4/Air/Mini via Lightning-to-USB cable. How will you get power to your iPad? The battery will last what... 10 hrs? You got the USB DAC hooked up for music listening and is used full time. How can you get AC power to iPad when the USB DAC is already hooked up? There is no other connector port available to power the device.


Anyone thought about that? Huh?

There are third party devices that provide inline power at the same time.

I am not familiar with which are better than others.

Can you give me a link to anyone that you know of? Getting the device always powered by wall outlet is crucial for me.

^ I don't think the iPad camera connection kit will work as I need to power the iPad off the electrical wall outlet. And I need iPad connected to external USB DAC to transmit signals so I can listen to music from the DAC. The external DAC will have its own power supply supplied by the manufacturer.
