Depends where I am at. The puffs, after being open a while in a humid climate, are good eats.

I try to eat real food anymore, so neither one have been purchased in quite a while though.

Crunchy, and Chester Hot Fries are awesome they're like crack. I've polished an entire $3 bag by myself in a single evening. Andy Capp fries are super but only 1 place around me has them and they're only in a baby ass sized bag. If I could find them in a regular size I would probably buy them all.

Wow. You must have had some weak teeth.

It's like chipping a tooth on a fry.

More like a rock. We're talking 1980s Cheetos. Come to think of it, it may have been some store brand. Turned out though once the quarter tooth broke off, I found that tooth was merely an empty shell and ultimately a fresh tooth grew in to replace it. So no permanent harm done.

You sound like my friend. He's a big fan of stale cheetos... Never figured out why

They definitely exist.

They definitely do. Several of the chip manufacturers make a fried cheetos-like product. I think Herr's has one. And there must be a half-dozen vending machine snack packagers like Austin that have their own variety.

Just tried the crunchy "baked" kind. It costs almost double the price by weight.

"50% less fat" seems to be due to the fact that they put less of the cheese dust on it.

Aren't normal crunchy Cheetos also baked? They don't seem like they would be deep fried.

Surprisingly, I did not hate these:

I was pretty annoyed when I saw this necroed last night - not because of the necro, but because I was craving something salty - I had been sweating my butt off all day, working outside in the sun & 90+ degrees. Now, this morning, I still have a hankering for something like cheetos. Though I'm also still dehydrated from yesterday.
