checking remote computer

I'm new to rc5 and recently started cracking for TA

I followed the instructions in the faq and set it up to fetch/flush to Mika's...
how can I check my stats now?

more specifically, is there a way I can see when/from where the latest flushes have come from? I have a remote computer cracking rc5 and I just want to know when it crashes

You can check your stats at www.teamanandtech.com, click on distributed.net, then RC5 Full Stats, then By Email. Stats are updated at :15 and :45.

Not sure about your other question, so I'll let someone else handle it.

Welcome to the team. 🙂

A warm Team Anandtech Welcome to you Vman! 😀

If you go to Mika's stats page, check the Mikas RC5 by email, find your id, then click on the @ sign you will be taken to your stats page. It may show up in the Hostname Working for this Participant link. 🙂

You can check the weekly or full stats. But be careful, stats have been known to be addictive. 😉😉

vman,

If you know the IP of the remote system, you may be able to check on it by going in to the "By Host" section of the pproxy. BUT, if it's a common one, it may be co-mingled with many others.

EDIT: Or, you could do what Ray just said.😀

Hey welcome to the TeAm vman good to see more people climbing aboard.

I'd like to say aswell that the soloution that Ray suggested will only work if you set your key server as the Core pproxy of mika's. If it's set to proxy.teamanandtech.com then it will go to one of the pproxies in the pool then to the core and all your blocks will be reported as coming from one of those boxes. If you want to check the uptime of your unstable box and it runs winNT4 or better maybe you should get involved in the uptimes project
