What's the best way to check DDR3 RAM temps? I've got 4 sticks installed in an old, crappy rosewill case along with lots of other heat-producing components. Is there any software that can monitor RAM?

Most sticks of RAM don't come with a sensor, and there isn't any software that can determine the temperature of a non-existent sensor. Easiest way would be to use an infrared thermometer.

Hold the infrared thermometer very close since they typically have an 8:1 spread, meaning when held 8" away, the temperature is averaged over a 1" diameter area.

RAM is rated for at least 85C surface temperature, even without heatsinks, meaning heat should never be problem even in a poorly ventilated case with an ambient temperature of 55C, meaning any heat related RAM errors are due to the RAM being faulty.
