This may seem like a dumb question, but I thought I would ask to be sure. I tried to unlock my non-pro radeon9500. It installed and when I ran the fillrate tests in 3dmark2k3 I did see a noteable improvement (about 1000 in both single and multi fill). But when I ran the other benchmarks in 3dmark I saw a what looked like a checkerboard effect. Does this mean my card isnt able to be unlocked?
thanks,
-doug

PS. I posted this in general hardware and someone told me that I cant unlock. But I figured I'd just post here too for good measure incase there is something that can be done.

I think your card is not able to be unlocked, this is a typical effect of that fact.

Man, oh well. Im just thought it would cuz it has a red PCB and the L configured memory. Found out today that the ATI tradeup program would have let me get a 9600Pro + shipping for $165 and my old video card (which is dead anyhow). Oh well.
