I have a problem and I want to do some logging on the WinLogon process. Reading up on a few pages some of which are:
http://www.netomatix.com/articles/KBArticle.aspx?a=232575
http://blogs.msdn.com/ntdebugging/archive/2007/06/09/how-windows-shuts-down.aspx
It talks about copying over a checked build of the WinLogon.exe. I was able to get into MSDN but the only relevent "checked" download I can find is a network install of SP2 for XP. I did attempt to use the WinLogon from that download but it just makes the machine go into a BSOD loop. Is there something Im missing? Is there some other downloads that Im not seeing? Anyone have experience in using these checked\debug builds?
