I killed over 5 cockroaches on the streets of Charleston, SC one night on vacation. I was about 10. That makes me an ace.

I saw a huge roach today but nuked the entire site from orbit. It was the only way to be sure.

When I rented a car in Kauai, it had a whole family living in it....

It was a convertible....so I guess that's the price you pay for having a car like that. I thoroghly checked my luggage and shoes before leaving the islands...I didn't want any tropical hitchhikers.

i always check my shoes before putting them on because once there was a big spider in there and i didn't know it until i took my shoe off and the thing was squished into my sock.

also, i saw something on TV once where people living the dessert had to be sure to check their shoes for scorpions.

both events have fueled my shoe check before putting them on.

I put my foot in some baseball cleats and found a fuzzy worm inside. Next day I did it again but this time I crushed a snail all over my white knee-high socks.

I put my bare foot into one of my old sneakers that I was going to wear while fishing. Apparently, some sort of spider had made my sneaker it's home. It packed one hell of a bite... twice. I've been stung by bees, wasps, etc. before. I just shrug those ones off. This time, the bite hurt enough to keep me from going fishing.
