Utter crap, the FBI would never bother with such a thing. Very likely the site collected a lot of money in donations/payments for t-shirts or something, and decided that rather than actually shipping them out, would throw that up and run with the cash, and everybody who paid would just feel lucky that they got away from the FBI.
 
Why would the FBI still leave up EliteTorrent's own logo? And since when does the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement handle copyright infringment cases?

I've NEVER seen the FBI do this to a site, they just simply take it offline altogether. Why would they go through the trouble of uploading images and crap to do this?

Exactly, they're more likely to do nothing until their investigation is over, then take care of it all in one fell swoop. Whole thing stinks to me, I still say this place collected money for something and decided to just keep it and run.

somethien similiar to this happened to isonews.com a few years back...but that had more to do wtih selling of modchips
