Check this out - xbox crystal

I saw one of these in the magazine in the paper at the weekend.

Basically looked to me like an xbox with a clear casing on it.

yeah, i think they're only making 5000 or something...there are also some translucent blue ones, and mountain dew green ones..
 
That's nothing new about that look. All the Xbox Developer Kits have that casing. The only difference I see is they made the logo white as well while on the Developer Kit version the logo is green with silver lettering.
 
this is toally unrelated, but has anyone ever swapped out the CPU (I doubt it's possible) or added extra memory to the extra memory banks that are on the motherboard?
