Check this bad boy piece of hardware out

I remember a couple months ago one person (I think a boyfriend/girlfriend) was looking for one of these for their partner (actually an older model IBM, but one with a touchpad and an eraser nub pointer device).

That's the only time I remember that being mentioned. Unfortunately I don't remember what the thread was called, but I know there's one out there about these keyboards.

So, another bump for you 😛

looks like it could be handy, especially with the numeric keypad. Not something I think I would use, but then I don't use my laptop the majority of the time and don't have a problem typing on the actual laptop.

Why do keyboard manufacturers feel the urge to mess up the Home/End area in as many ways as possible? My college has some weird KB's where those keys are completely warped to realms never seen before. At least this model has them together still.

tbh it looks like a laptop keyboard. and the mouse must be hopeless, you will probably bump into it when you type. i think this is more usefull for people in limited spaces. it does have a cool look to it though

Well thanx for the bumps, I have forgot to mention some info here, I do own a thinkpad and do love the trackpoint, and no it has never got in my when typing, I am not getting this for a laptop but I am getting it for self assembled IBM workstation .
How ? well I am going to transfer my AMD 64 rig componenets from my aspire-x infinty case that is in my sig to the IBm xseries 220 server case, the workstation is going to be made with the following :

1- An IBM Xseries 220 case pic.
2- An IBM 21" or 22" CRT flat screen monitor (DVI) pic.
3- IBM UltraNav keyboard pic1 pic2

I garuantee everyone it will be the coolest IBM setup ever, I have built so many custom rigs that I started feeling the need for some IBM goodnes in my collection so there you have it .

Well right now I have this sweet slim keyboard
from logitech, but since I am going to build an IBM setup I am getting the UltraNav one, and yes I am that addicted to the trackpoint, but the goodpart is that I have hooked my self up with a guy that has an IBM vendor License and will be getting it fairly cheap so
