Check these temps

I'm running the A64 system in the signature.

2.7GHZ 1.6v CPU temp only reads 48*C after 30 minutes of Battlefield 2???

This is on the stock retail cooler mind you. Seems to me it should be running hotter. IS there any chance the DFI board is misreading the temp??

I do not have exceptional case cooling either. 2 intake fans, 1 exhaust and 1 side exhaust 80mm fans on a pretty cheapo case.

What do you guys think?

Also my chipset is running at around 55*C. Time for a chipset cooler???

Thanks

Hi Matt2,
48-55 C seems about right.
AMD 64 CPU & chipsets USUALLY don't start to have major problems till they reach > OR ~ 68C.
More cooling can never hurt..as long as your PSU isn't overloaded.
Hope this helps 🙂
