Check temps of videocard? How?

I don't wanna fry the thing... I can put my finger on the back of the core for a second or two before i have to move my finger, the Heatsink I put on there feels pretty cool. I got a decent fan running on it. Ram feels a little hot too, but I can leave my finger on for several seconds before i have to move it. (stupid ghetto rigged no ramsinks).

You think its running to hot? or is that normal?
 
depends on what video card...geforce 256 cards were renoun for running very hot. while Geforce 2 Mx's sometimes shipped without fans (just heatsinks).

i had a geforce 256 SDR and it would burn my finger if i touched the back of the core...
