Those are aliens and they don't take kindly to you obstructing their rolling path. Barricade yourself and stock up on kerosene.

This is what happens when you build on ghost towns and don't relocate the indigenous tumbleweed population.

I was debating whether to click on those images, hoping you really didn't just post what your dog coughed up :p

Some of youse folks have never been "out west," because that nasty stuff is everywhere...well, not much in the cities, but certainly in outlying areas.

Here in the Kahleeforneeya's Central Valley, the stuff clogs irrigation systems on a regular basis. Most irrigation districts have a crew dedicated to cleaning it out of grates, gates, and other places where it collects.
We can thank farmers who brought it in in the 1800's mixed with wheat seed, as well as the government who brought it in, thinking it would be good cattle feed in some of the more barren lands...

Whats fun is when giant tumbleweeds are erratically rolling across the highway and you get to play dodge the tumbleweed.

More fun than that is getting run over by one as it tumbles across the landscape...especially when it's raining...WHACK!
Some of those get to be more than 3' in diameter...when they get wet and muddy, they weigh quite a bit...but keep on rolling.
