I dunno, I dont think its that bad of a price, you dont even have to wire your fans to it, just plug em in.

Who needs a review. My patience is too limited to make something like that and have it look that good. I think I will buy one.

Anyone know what kind of plug your fans need to plug into this? Do they have to have a plug?

I think they have to have a plug and I'm sure they are 4-pin plugs conciderring thats what most 80mm and up fans have.

Hmm, neat configuration. Does changing the power of the fans hurt them at all? On some electronic products it can short circut them.

mm i want one of these so bad, a nicer and prettier alternative to other multi function panels

and toro45: i dont think you can turn them off from the panel, just run the fan(s) at very low rpms

Yeah thats my biggest problem, finding 4-3 pin adaptors! Do they even make them? I know they make 3-4 pin adaptors but those wont help me at all.

I guess I could just splice the wires to a 3 pin connector wire.

Anyone know where they sell 3 pin wires with connectors? preferably long ones.

Review

Anyone know where these are actually in stock.

Edit: I just saw over at bigfootcomputers.com that they will have some on or near the 20th.

hrm... rivaling the price of most of the baybuses out there, I may have to get this instead (provided I can fit it into a chemming 1040 clone with door).

I get all my 3 pin male connectors from sacrificial P1 type heatsink/fan combos.

From the VH review... Also, we did not receive any cables with the units but VantecUSA assured us that the final retail version will be shipped with the following standard cables;

1 power cable
2 pcs 4 pin to 3 pin fan power cables
2 pcs 3 pin to 3 pin fan power extension cables.
