And a crappy one with an AA battery showing size.

yeah my camera sucks.

Went to walk my dogs and noticed this thing hanging out in my van's wheel well. I have no idea what kind it is but I know I'd scream like a little girl if it was on me.

I've tried feeding them before, and they refuse to eat. Useless predators :^D

Garden spider. They're supposedly harmless, but personally I think they're advance scouts for the alien spider invasion force.

It's just your ordinary run-of-the-mill orb weaving garden spider. They are all over the SE USA or, at least, all over Georgia where I lived.

I'll admit... they do look pretty freaky when they start shaking their web violently (more like "bouncing" it trampolene-style) to scare you away.
