Have you ever seen anything like this? Screenshot of SiSoft Sandra 2004 burn in test.

When I test my other boards, all the temps are ruler flat. Why do the board and aux temps swing so wildly with this board? This can't be correct. It has a low of 14 degrees and a high of 69 degrees. That's not possible.

Is this something that I should worry about? Something I should exchange the board for? When I tough the board at the highest temps, it doesn't even seem warm to the touch.

Thanks.

Ouch, watchout. Its a bitmap.

Well these readings are obviously wrong. Its impossible to have case temp swing so much and not effect CPU temp at all. In fact, its impossible for case temp to swing that much in the first place. Don't worry. What temp does the monitering utility your motherboard maker gave you display during such tests? You really shouldn't truse these readings. If you yourself feel that your case is not warm, you've got nothing to worry about.

Malfunctioning motherboard temp moniters are the last things you would want to replace a motherboard for.
