i dont see how thats possible, where would you get lights like that and how would you power them inside your mouse? tie them all along your current cord? that would be awkward i think....is there a page explaining how they did that or just a random picture?
 
the lights seem like standard leds....and can't you power it off of the same one the standard optical LED is powered off of?
 
Hmm.. it would be cool but with all those LED's I wouldn't think it could be powered from the computer but maybe the USB port has enough power..
 
i remember some tech site did this once. if you are interested you mite want to search for mouse modding at google.

I wish my Intellimouse Explorer Optical looked like that:frown:. All it has is a red light =(
 
I thought there was a way to change the LED on the Explorer, I think i saw a picture of blue one, ill see if i can find it
 
I think im gonna go buy a cheap usb mouse and start modding just to see what I can accomplish. Anyone find directions on how to do this yet?
