Check out this eBay auction

Is this legal?

I'm willing to buy it to save it. but i thought it was against the rules to sell animals on ebay?

Edit: never mind i'm not paying 100 bucks for it plus he gets to keep it no way.

PLEASE NOTE: If the rabbit must die, he will be humanely and legally butchered by a certified butcher. PETA people do not worry. The aforementioned auction does not break or violate any local city or state rules, laws, or ordinances. E-BAY, DO NOT REMOVE! The contract the winning bidder will receive will guarantee that I will not intentionally kill Sammy the rabbit nor eat him. It will also ensure that I will not have him killed or butchered. the contract will essentially allow him to continue to live as he is. I would not be responsible for any natural disasters, health problems, or unavoidable occurrences that could occur that could end the life of Sammy the rabbit. Essentially, the contract stops me from killing and eating him for the remainder of his natural life.

You "buddy" is a dork. Take the rabbit to the humane society. If he seriously kills it I hope it breaks some sort of local animal rights law and he gets in trouble.

I think this has been done already...if fact I think it is the very similar wording in the auction as the other one.

your friend is an unoriginal baffoon

edit: I knew it...see www.savetoby.com above.

It's not very original or funny. I saw this on Howard Stern Show but Howard Stern did this to get the PETA girls to make out.
