Thats one of the nicest looking civics I have ever seen. I don't know if I would call it a sleeper though just because it's owner has some taste unlike most of the other civic tuners 😛.
 
I would call it a sleeper. Heck with stock exhaust it looks stock. Basically the only thing that gives it away are the wheels/rims and suspension.

Love how he left that DX badge on; yeah that is a sleeper.

Was this video shot on a real TRACK with a real CHRONOMETER? 9.anything is FAST. Liter sportbikes run 9's up in the 140's...I call foul.

BTW, back when I had a 93 Civic SI hatch like this one, I wanted a sleeper. 🙂 Rice just looks dumb. However, a small, non-descript Japanese car that kicks everyone's ass is KEWL! 😎
 
but... why?! i dont understand this whole sleeper idea. if its fast, why wouldnt you spend some cash making it nice too?! comeon. this whole "sleeper" thing is the most unpimp thing EVAR.

but holy crap. yeah thats damn fast... lol the viper absolutely BLOWS by the oter car in that other vid... 😀
 
It's very "ho-hum" for me... sure I respect the work and time put into it. That's got to be more than 20Ks into the car. I couldn't imagine how fast my car would be with that much work (4G63Ts rock).

But sleeper Civic... bleh, the anodized suspension parts and rims already give it a non-stock almost JDMish look, which is incredibly common in the autoX crowd. Since I see so many, it's very ho-hum for me. Granted respect for the Civic for the nice little car that it is... it's still too "economy car" for me.

If you want sleeper... I'd say a 2JZ-GTE'd SC300, turbo Volvo, or a monster S4 is something more to my taste. Besides... from a roll to what, from what?

Anywho, I'm still against street racing even though these guys seem a bit more responsible than the typical dumb@$$ punk. Then again, you don't plan accidents or mistakes.

That turbo whine is INSANE... it pierces through the wind noise...

With all the ricers swapping out exaust it's funny to see a guy that actually has a fast civic to leave it in. Shows that it's kind of unecessary...
