closeup on motherboard mods/cooling
case from side

i once had this thing running it was nice
like 13+ fans all adjustable speed

it was overkill to the extreme
notice the power supply used for the pelts hehe
dangerden block and an abit nf7-s (nforce2) board

i had fun killing my 2500+ in that thing
also i had drilled a hole in the motherboard (which cut a trace to one of the memory slots thus disabling dual channel mode and that slot)
the thing even had it's own powerstrip in the case meaning it would only need one plugin to the wall
the hard drive/cdrom/floppy mounting braces are taken out (not sure where i put them)
anyways let me know what you think

if you want any other views let me know (there is also a door and a fan on the back of the case behind the motherboard)

hahaha yeah i had a psu for the motherboard i just took it out

i might make a version 2.0 someday

i was using air filters for vents but once i took the system apart it got all dusty

i wasn't too worried about my craftsmanship i was more worried at the time about just getting it assembled
took me like 3 days to cut everything, drill, bolt, etc

thanks for the comments

hahaha yeah but that thing was sweet
fully contained subzero water cooling and more fans than anyone could imagine

that is a copper radiator cooled with 2 120mm fans

thanks i take that as an honor hahaha
but it looked a lot better when i had it all together

i'll have to make something else to show off hehe

I have tons of that foam stuff you appear to have boxed around the fans...Did you use it to deaden the sound and did it work???

Dude, you're a nut. I like it. ;)

Now what I want is a case with a 1" thick, 10+" diameter fan in the side of the case. Of course you'd need a grill on either side of the fan, to keep out fingers and wires, but imagine how much airflow you'd get even with a low (100-200RPM?) fan speed.

ohh i used that foam tape to seal the case
i guess i was trying to make it as air tite as i could
it worked pretty good

if i could design the thing again i would have done a few things differently
that psu is heavy and the case is so huge that it bows even tho i doubled the plexiglass on the bottom

thanks everyone

the thing purred
sounded like a refridgerator that just kicked in
no loud high pitched junk
lots of air flow

it would work great in a coll ambient environment
