Dang, that's a lot of aphids.

Yeah the aphids love milkweed for the same reason caterpillars do. It's a fine line to walk especially in a commercial setting were customers expect "clean" plants. Use chemicals on the plants to kill the aphids and then you also end up killing the caterpillars........

Before anyone says it yes I know there are other methods of control besides chemicals but in a commercial setting a lot of those control methods are impractical or cost prohibitive. I do use alternative methods of control in my personal landscaping and garden.
