Yowza!
You sure that's a GF4? I didn't think any double height cards existed outside of the professional segment.

Heyyyyyy, I like that! Most of the heat gets exhausted outside the case, where it belongs. Nice. I have a PCI slot fan (not using it) that has the same thing; scroll-like fan exhuasting thru vents in the slot-cover. My only worries is that "it's an Abit." Hopefully their cards are better than their mobos. :(

Yes, it is a GF4.
Yes, you can get a 4400 for the same price and overclock it even better ;)

Should be very effective at cooling the GF4 core and should avoid the huge contribution to 'in case' heat too! Still it really depends more on what they do with the RAM chips. Most GF4TI cores hit 280-320 anyway, it is the rating of the RAM chips which really makes the diff. Still be interesting how these cards o/c though. To find out more about Abit's OTES cards check out This!

All that extra space and they didn't bother to add another DVI connector. =(

WOW, I hope Abit does the same for the NV30 line.

I have nothing in my PCI slots, everything is onboard (firewire, USB1/2, NIC), so I have lots of space for that card.

That is just too kewl! I never use the slot next to the AGP anyway so its usually wasted space. That rawks.
