Wednesday...Showers and thunderstorms in the morning...Then partial clearing windy and turning colder during the afternoon. Morning highs in the mid 60s. Temperature falling into the upper 40s in the afternoon. South winds 20 to 30 mph...Becoming southwest. Gusts up to 45 mph in the afternoon.

Then once it starts...it doesn't stop

No, it isn't. You get sick "this time of the year" because you come into contact with pathogenic microorganisms.

And for some reason those microorganisms always fight better when my body is subjected to rapid temperature changes.
