Well they'll blow your mind after you view them and realise that:
1. It's a free game. Due out later this year.
2. It'll run well on a first generation Geforce video card.
3. Back-to-basics deathmatch with balanced and numerous weapons, numerous characters to choose from. (30+)
4. Based off of a hacked Quake1 gaming engine.
Hard to tell from the videos... but it looks like a nice clean and very quick FPS game. Nice eye candy.
Hopefully the gameplay matches it.

videos here (the second video is the new one, the first video is a bit old now).
At least it'll give you id fans something to look forward to even if you can't afford the rig to play Doom3 well. Or maybe if you have some older machines laying around and would like to have some impromptu lan matchs with freinds on trivial hardware.
That sort of thing.
This is all perfectly legal, since ID releases it's old gaming engines under the GPL liscence. I think it's pretty cool what hackers are capable of when given good material to work with.
Hopefully it will be a fun game.
