I sat in it at the autoshow back in February.
Pretty decent seats, dash was nice...hey it's a cool car.
Lotsa HP too...forgot how much torque it had tho

The regular Mini is definitely coming here. It will be sold through BMW dealerships. I'm quite sure that the Cooper S will come here as well. We'll probably be the major market for the vehicle.

LAthougvh it is good concept, and doesn't look that bad; it won't sell here. Especially if it goes through BMW dealers (read expensive) I think the pricing for the type S is supposed to be ~$18+ , too much for a mini.

Same was said about the PT Cruiser and the new Beetle, but look how those sell.

If I remember correctly that was the car used in the chase scene of a James Bond movie where its cut in half and he keeps driving since its front wheel drive.Funny scene

Jeezus! - I remember the original Mini designed by (Sir) Alec Issigonis. It was basically the forerunner of the modern transverse engine, front wheel drive small car.

Anyone know how BMW got involved with the Mini?

I read they will reprogram the CV tranny to feel like a normal tranny, since us americans are stupid
