My wife likes to walk our dog Pugsley nightly. Well a couple nights ago she found a little dog just walking around the street. She picked it up and asked around to see who the owner was. Some kids in the neighborhood pointed a house out. She took the dog back to the owner. She could tell the dog was visibly shaken up to see the owner. Then she commented to my wife about she had a pug like ours but it died after she left it outside all day. It really bothered my wife to give the dog back but she did. Well yesterday my wife is walking Pugsley again and she sees the little dog wandering aimlessly in the street. She had to stop a car to keep the dog from getting run over. She brought the dog home with her this time. I told her we can't keep it and we'll have to take it back to it's owner. It really was upsetting to see the dog. She was really skinny and had her tail between her legs most if the time. So we headed over to the owners house and gave her the dog back. She picked it up and you could tell the dog was frightened. She picked it up and was saying "what are we going to do with you I'll throw you in the trash". It was said in an evil tone like she was serious. At that point my wife and I proceeded to bitch her out and told the bitch we'd take care of it. She handed us the dog so fast it would make your head spin. Now I have another dog and I believe I made the right decision. Still haven't thought of a name suggestions being taken.

Nice work. I don't like dogs, but I don't like seeing animals mistreated. I don't understand why people get animals if they don't want them :^/

You should ask my sister that... She got a cat and then after a week realized she didn't want him so we ended up taking care of him.. We love our cat but I'm always reminded of how her getting the cat was an impulse purchase of hers.

Wow. Glad that dog found you. It sickens me to hear that people treat animals that way. You may want to contact the SPCA or some other organization if you suspect they are mistreating other animals.

Good for you, that person shouldn't have dogs. If you see them with another I would call the SPCA on them.

Oscar is a good name for the little guy.

I enjoy reading tails of rescue. ;)

Good for you and your wife. People that abuse animals should be made to do community service at the humane society kennels cleaning poop with their bare hands for a month.
