Oh wow... you went for it eh? very clean... :)

How much was it? You'll get the same amount when you sell it later on... :D

Ride safe!

Nice job! From what I've heard, you'll probably grow out of it quickly, but I'm glad to see you're starting small.

$2697.. bought from a local dealer. $2999 for a 2004 model, but the 2004 wasn't green. Green was the color I have wanted for my whole life. Now I have a green Ninja. So now I am happy.

As for the person who said it is a fast bike for a 250cc.. yeah, you are right. The bike is so light (I can pick up the rear of it to move it into my garage) that the 250cc engine can pull this thing very quickly.

The Ninja 250 is one of the few 250s I would feel safe with on the highway.

great buy..looking good lordjezo...

The bike really kicks in power after about 9 or 10K (redline is 14 if im right). Dont open it up until your on a straight away... ride carefully and sensibly. Use the rules of SLLR (Slow Look Lean & Roll) for every turn (recite it in your mind)

It will get you started, put on a couple of thousand miles (10K +) and when you get ready to move up you will sell it for almost the same cost.

I am glad you went with Joe Rocket. It looks like the JR Ballestic 4.0 jacket (good jacket).

Now you got me jealous.. I wish I could buy the green ninja.. well once im done with college... and i got a decent job then maybe i can think of something like that..

The nice thing about the 250 Ninja it produces as much as my 500 GS500. 37Hp vs 41 on a much more lighter bike. And it also looks dead sexy.

Ride safe!

the ppl who say you get bored quickly live in the great flat lands of america.. All they do is drive in a straight line and to perk up some interest they go to faster and faster bikes before the first corner kills them.

I will take a smaller lighter bike up teh canyons over an overly powerful one that i cant control.

Congrats :) Looks like you fit the bike well. A friend of mine started on a 250 Ninja, he loved it.

Riding in cool damp weather, inside misting of the visor can be a problem. Google fog city. They work very well.

Hey, idiot, stay out of the thread.

Ecxellent decision to get a Ninja 250cc. Far too many beginners get R6s or something of the sort, and kill themselves. Have fun and be safe!
