Well its hot as hell in my room here even with my 6000 btu ac.
My 2100+ at 2.3ghz and 200fsb was heating up to almost 51c and things werent working. With a little duck tape, 2 trash bags and a couple of beers, check out what i did

I taped to bags together and taped an open end to the ac vent and the other to my intake fans on the from of the case and fired up the ac

40c under load now!
haha
Woah i mean 39c
Here you go. Make comments please. HAHA
Is that an Antec SX 835 series 2 Tower?

I have no airconditioning and my cpu temps don't go above 40 C and system temps never exceed 30C.

My XP2500+ is overclocked a bit.

Maybe you should try better case ventilation and maybe CPUidle Extreme.

Would it be wrong to photochop him into the iraqi prisoner scandal photos? He's pointing just like the chick was in that picture. 🙂

well its like 90F here and muggy. The case should have great ventalation. 2 intake 2 outake and sk-7 on the cpu. The cpu is running at 2.3 ghz though. thats hot stuff

hmm i dont think there will be condensation. Do you think?
I could prolly poke holes in the bag at places allowing hot air in.
I mean the bag isnt completely sealed off. There are places i didnt take so im sure hot air can still get in

Well if it already works what the hell just leave it I guess, but if you turn it off and those parts acclimatize to a hot room they are definitely going to attract some moisture...

whoever came up with all that stuff for macgyver is a fcking genius.

Not really... some of the stuff would never actually work.
Example: when they were locked in a walk-in freezer, they melted ice on a light bulb, let it run down a long metal thing and into the lock where it froze. Reality: It would have froze before it made it down the metal thing. (not to mention that walk-in freezers have a safety latch on the inside so you can't be locked in - unless Macgyver-like coworkers disassemble the safety mechanism and lock you in. 😀 )

hilarious!

1. Me and mein homies stormed Fairchild Semiconductah's headquartas, killed 2300 employees, and stole some transistahs

2. I cut open my face and pulled out an inductah and a diode. It fit into de mouse's ass purfectly

You realize my setup is similar.

And it gets plenty hot and muggy here too. I am just North of you. LOL

I use the 2 back fans plus 2 front and 1 HDD fan. All 80mm.

I use the Vantec Aeroflow for my cpu and a vantec iceberg kit for the 8RDA+ chipsets.

Well i just checked out your rig. It is similar except for the fact that im running this thing 500-600mhz faster than its rated. Notice 2100+ @ 2.3ghz. thats like 11.5x200. My voltages are a little higher as well producing heat
1.78 vcore
2.8 mem

lol, the funny thing is that I had the exact same idea last year during winter...I was gonna hook up a hose to my case with the other end sticking out my window during the cold Chicago winter months.
