And no matter how funny you think your splash page is, it is annoying.

I do like the design of the site though.

Well, it'll be an image map in the future.. The titles in quotes are short stories that I've written and when you click on the stories, pdf files (or html - haven't decided) will open.. The concept is that it's supposed to represent the thought process of a frustrated writer.. It's confusing, I know...:)

Well it makes sense if they are the titles of short stories and link to them or something. I just didn't know if that is what you were going to do or not. I like it. :)

I personally don't like the "put all your content into a little fixed-size box in the middle of the screen" philosophy, but the rest of the design elements look good. Hard to say too much without knowing what it'll be like to navigate within the subsections, apart from the notebook page image-map-to-be.
