Check out my friend's band. (MP3s inside)

Well, not so much a friend as the son of one of our good clients.

Normally, I don't pimp friend's bands but this kid is AMAZING. His range of styles with the guitar are incredible.

His band, Sound Sculpture, has a website here.

The main MP3 sample page is here.

Because most of you have ADD, I'll link to a couple of my favorites:

"Remember" - Instrumental. Santana-esque guitar jamming. This guy has fast fingers.
"Mad Monk" - Instrumental (short clip). More guitar jamming, but this time it's metal.
"Knob Hill" - Some vocals, nu-metal feel. "F*** the system" kind of message.

In Remember - his solo sounds a bit repetitive, and strays from the chord progression. Plus, it's way too long to be interesting. Drums sound washed out.

Mad Monk takes skill to play, but it doesn't sound all that interesting. In fact, until about 30 seconds in, its rather boring. and then it gets boring after the 40 second mark, too.

Knob Hill - I just don't like the music.

drummer sounds alright, but his sound is really getting lost (esp the bass drum).
good balance of sound, though, no overriding vocals/instrumental parts.

I listened to Knob Hill, it wasn't so great. Reminds me of a high school band - and their website stinks.
