Check out my Catch

holy crap that is a big fish, did you eat it?

my biggest catch was a salmon in Puget Sound, it was about 27" long, we didn't weigh it

it was very tasty

That's a whole lotta fish!

Congrats.

I used to love to go fishing, but now I just feel sorry for the fish. lol

WOW! Must've been an awesome fight!!!

I'm usually a freshwater bigmouth bass fisher, but I love trying to land a striper every now and then 🙂

That's a big fish - especially for fresh water!
Unless there's such a thing as freshwater striped bass, I think he was fishing in salt water 😉

Doh!

😱

Just saw the word "Bass" and assumed...

I had a ~34in Northern on my line once. Man that thing was huge. I had it up to the boat twice but my brother spooked it with the net both times and it finally tossed the hook. I would have loved to have a picture of that thing. When I saw it coming up at me through the water it scared the heck out of me. I suddenly had flashbacks of Jaws. 🙂

Sweet! Heavy or light tackle? How long did it take to coax him in the boat?

We we using light tackle more or less...the bitch of the whole deal was that I reeled in that 34 pounder and on the same rig was a 20 pounder. Took about 7 minutes to reel them in the boat. Needless to say, my arms were a little sore after standing, reeling, and trying not to fall overboard!
