Don't you hate when you send a check to pay a bill and it takes a long time for them to cash it..

Its been two weeks already.

edit: it also makes me think if they ever got it and of course if they didn't, they will slap with a fee.

I don't know why some companies still fail to give you options to pay online and do it the snail mail way.
 
i agree. i paid a CC bill on Saturday w/a check and it still hasn't cleared. i want to get all this bill crap done by next thursday when I go on vacation.
 
Paying online is the only way to go. I can pay all of my bills online except for one. But they are pretty quick about cashing it.
 
I've used ten checks since I got my checking account in 2000...

Just the free booklet that you get with a new account.. Used it up a couple of years ago..

I have two fuck$ng bills that i still pay by check, actually three because my car loan company charges you a fee to pay online :|

everything else is all online.
 
I think some companies, esp cc ones WANT you to be late on payments. *warning, conspiracy theory, wear tinfoil hat now* I wonder how many payments get "lost" on purpose?
