This is the first computer I'm going to be building. I'm only going to be playing UT 2004 and America's Army:

-ASUS A8N SLI (I want nForce 4 and don't want to to make major upgrades in future)
-AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 939 Pin
-PQI 1024MB DDR 400 PC-3200 Dual Channel
-MSI NX6600GT
-Seagate 80GB Barracuda Serial ATA
-350 watt power supply

That's gonna come out to about 1060 american.

Stick with a name brand. Cheap, knock-off PSUs are nothing but trouble.

Also, I don't think you really need any more than 350W, at least unless you think you'll be upgrading to two 6800GTs anytime soon.

Just my opinion and experience , you cannot go wrong in getting more watts. Just be sure you get CLEAN watts and by that get a NAME BRAND. My choices for quality is 1st> PCPower&cooling but they are way expensive. OCZ , Enermax and Antec are all quality too. Remember ya get watcha pay for :) I think the 350 would work fine, but when you start to oc and add a second gfx card I garuntee you will need the extra juice for stability so why not prepare for the future lol G-Luck and Njoy that system its a nicen.

Again it depends on how clean the power is. 420 and above is what I would go with and the name brands I mentioned. :) PCPower&Cooling and OCZ have the cleanest power available with the least amt of line regulation (1 and 3%) with the least amt of ripple ( 1%) which is important when ocing. PSU's are so overlooked getcha a good you wont be srry. PCpower warranties are 5 yrs and ocz are as well. This says something when they back their product like that :)
