Considering the sad state of cheating in such a good game as CS, I'm glad to be on a server that is private and has been able to stay away from cheats...thanks Neo 🙂

 
I saw one guy who was using some cheat to make himself invisible. So when he was defusing the bomb I tried shooting everywhere in the vicinity, but didn't hit anything, so I guess it just makes him "not there". Also, the guy could rejoin his team right right after dying, so he could die multiple times in the same round. At least I got to kill him three times in the same round a few times🙂

And then there's those punks that scream cheater every other game:|
 
There are plenty of cheats in CS, but that article is a bit incorrect on one point. It mentions that you can't shoot through walls as a cheat, but that's been in the game since beta1.

Cheats exist in all forms of multiplayer games. Quake based engine have plenty of cheats because the server assumes the client is 100% trusted when it should never be trusted at all. I've been called a cheater for my abilities, but I don't care -- I play on and win. Cheaters exist and they can be beaten, just play on and you'll beat 'em.
