Cheaters being weeded out of Seti Classic stats?

I haven't checked my class standing for a while because there's nowhere for me to go, anymore. It's impossible for me to catch anyone ahead of me and it's unlikely anyone behind me will catch me. I was happy to settle for sixth in my class overall.

This morning, just for the halibut, I checked my registration class and I'm now in fourth place! :Q Two big producers ahead of me are gone. Number one in the class, who had 777,777 workunits, has disappeared. So has someone else, although I'm not sure who that was.

Could they be culling results and nuking suspected cheaters?

The registration class page only shows users who have been active during the previous month.

edit: I'm #8. 🙂

I did a search of the top 1000 users and found the other guy who used to be above me in my class rankings. I am still ahead of him but he hasnt been active for a while.

Oh well good call though Mk4:beer:
 
I was 16th as of the last update on the Nov. 8th, but when I checked last night, I had fallen to 17th! Some user named "Leon" from Spain had lept ahead of me with with 9,144 WU's. Bear in mind, as of Nov. 8th he wasn't even listed in the class, and the last WU was received on the 15th. So in a week, this user, who wasn't listed in my class, churned out that kind of production? I don't think so. In fact, there was only 1 user from Spain in my class period, and they had all of 133 WU's as of the 8th.

In short, looks like the weeding out isn't perfect :|

Remember, only ACTIVE users is showing-up in the class-pages.

Meaning, Leon could have been sitting idle for some months at ever diminishing gap to you, and if he didn't return one result he would now be 9143 results ahead of you. But, with returning one result, he's now 9144 ahead, and shows-up in the class-pages again.

This is the first time that page has been updated in about two weeks. I think that is the reason everyone is seeing the big changes. I would also like to see them weed out the cheaters.
 
My class is from the spring of 1999. Lots of members.

I'm 17th - was 18th bavk on 11/08/05. 😉
