I have an Asus Geforce2 GTS deluxe and its crapped itself and the drivers are crap, now I need something to replace it. Not into gaming so just need something with video in and i'll be happy.

How cheap do you need? An All-In-Wonder 2006 (Radeon 9600 chip) is 90 plus shipping after rebate. That's the cheapest Newegg has that definitely has video input; they have a 9550 that they list as having VIVO for 54 bucks, but it isn't entirely clear that it accepts input. There may also be others that actually have VIVO but they don't have listed right.

H.I.S. used to have a comprehensive range of cards with VIVO function, all the way down to Radeon 9250. I'm currently using a 9550SE-VIVO - fanless, low power, dualhead, video in and out.

Looks like 100 bucks is the minimum for anything that actually does support VIVO, disregarding rebates and ignoring ebay and FS/FT. Just a plain old GF2/3/4 would obviously work fine for you and of course be cheap as hell but they're harder to find.

TigerDirect has an X1300 for 100 bucks. I don't think the fancy-pants AVIVO will actually help with capture quality, but you might get some use out of their Avivo Video Converter.

You can go slightly cheaper too if you don't mind Pricewatch listings. It looks like if you really want to go cheap and get VIVO by getting an older card, you're going to have to get it through forum trade/buy or from ebay.

I didn't list that 9550 because there were NO other cards that cheap or with the 9550 chip listed anywhere that said they had VIVO capability, so it seemed more likely Newegg just had a mistake on the page.

And according to GeCube, it only does TV-out.
