Cheapest Win 2k price?

Ok, I'm looking for Win 2k. Pro, I guess. Anyway, Its quite expensive from what I have seen. Does anyone know the cheapest price and where at I could find it? Just the OEM version.

One question, will windows XP home give me the stability and functionality that 2k has? I will be using the OS for gaming, multimedia, internet, downloaded, music, ect... I think I have seen XP home for around $100.

Any thoughts?
 
if you go to a university, the bookstore should have it for a bargain price, under $25 i would say. tho xp is hte same price if not almost.
if not, ask someone you know who goes to one.

if you're saying w2k pro vs. xp home - stability, but not all the functions.
 
hmmm, I checked the book store at this applied technology center I go to. No luck. Looking for an online price if possible.
 
Non-profits get discounts on software, but I'm guessing that you're not in a non-profit organization. If you were, I don't think that they would give you one free license/software anyway 😛
