Hi all,

I ordered a new 27" LCD monitor for the desktop pc but I am going to get a new laptop instead so I will ship the LCD monitor back to NewEgg (seller was Beach Camera). The LCD monitor was not open and is still sealed in the original shipping box.

So I have the RMA number from the seller but I will have to ship the monitor back on my own dime. Which will be the cheapest way? UPS? FedEx? USPS? Others?

Oh, the LCD monitor was on sale for $150 brand new.

TIA.

Rather than taking the loss of shipping I would just sell it locally or keep it, I'm sure you can find a use for it, like a secondary monitor for the laptop. It's probably going to cost you close to half of what you paid for it just to ship it back.

I have to second Red Squirrel.

Fedex used to be the cheapest for large boxes. I remember shipping some big speakers for $27 each back in 2008ish. Their rates are multiple times that now though. If it's a decent monitor, I'd try to get rid of it locally. I also always use a second monitor myself when one is available.

Yeah I ship stuff at work and even with our company discount the rates are crazy. Under 10 pounds from west coast to east coast is like $30+ on standard 3 day.
